Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C

Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia is the regulatory authority for these professions in the province of BC. It sets and maintains high academic, experience, and professional practice standards for all members. Only individuals licensed with Engineers and Geoscientists BC are permitted to undertake and assume responsibility for engineering and geoscience work in BC.


You can get involved with the association now as a Student Member. Student Members gain access to scholarships, catered networking events, and career resources. Student Member registration is not automatic—you must activate your account online before you are considered a Student Member. Accounts are free for undergraduate engineering students, as the annual fee is paid through the Professional Activities Fund. Master’s students can become Student Members for $25 per year.

The Western Engineering Student Societies' Team

The Western Engineering Student Societies' Team (WESST) is an alliance of engineering student societies across western Canada. That consists of twelve member societies from eleven engineering programs. WESST helps its member societies share expertise in organizing events, managing budgets, and services for undergraduate engineering students.

The Canadian Federation of Engineering Students

 CFES is a national, bilingual organization that represents approximately 81,000 engineering students across Canada. Offering services ranging from leadership development conferences to technical skill competitions, and other outreach efforts, the CFES aims to provide opportunities in support of an all-encompassing education for engineering students in Canada to become unparalleled professionals in their field.
